Darkhold: Secrets of the Zhentarim book design

Darkhold: Secrets of the Zhentarim is the latest DMs Guild title by the team behind Elminster’s Candlekeep Companion. I art directed and designed this book, providing briefs for the cover artists and interior artists who made original pieces for it, selecting all of the interior stock art pieces, and creating a bunch of new design elements for filler, chapter headers, and more.

As with all the projects I work on, I was also very engaged with the text, proposing additions and changes to the presentation where it helped improve the content and/or the layout.
